Forge Leadership conducted 50 in-depth semi-structured interviews with millennials in positions of leadership – ten people in each of five sectors – public sector, private sector, churches, agencies and third sector and analysed the responses from 442 online questionaires

Millennial leaders are desiring and struggling with whole-life balance.

Millennials’ biggest challenge cited in leading was conflict management.

‘Always found work-life balance quite a hard issue to grapple with for the reason that I think if you are really passionate about what you do and why you are doing it then that will overflow [into all areas of life].’

The majority of millennial leaders noted that they had benefitted by being given early leadership opportunities within their church.
